BIOGRAPHY

For the first time in almost fifteen years since founding the freeform, avant, psych-folk outfit Jackie-O Motherfucker, Tom Greenwood is hitting the road on a solo tour with supporting guest Joanne Robertson. 

Tom is stripping the layers of sound and is concentrating on the core essence and structure that has made JOMF a favorite of the “New Weird America” movement.  Tom will reinterpret fan favorites from critically acclaimed albums such as “Flags of the Sacred Harp”, “Fig. 5”, and their latest “Valley of Fire”.  Also expect new material Tom has been working on for the next Jackie-O release slated for Fall 2008.

Supporting Tom on this rare concert occasion is up and coming English Folk chanteuse Joanne Robertson.  Their like-minded, minimalist approach bodes well for fascinating, one-off collaborations on this special set of engagements.
